Historic Achievement for New York and America
Professor Dana York, DDS, MS, PhD, is the first mayoral candidate in history to receive the Médaille de Vermeil from the Académie des Arts, Sciences et Lettres of Paris, one of France’s most prestigious distinctions for lifetime achievement in artistic and scientific excellence.
She is the only woman candidate, Jewish, pro-Israel, and the most highly educated candidate ever to participate in elections in the United States of America.
A distinguished leader in Artificial Intelligence and a visionary uniting art, science, and humanity, Professor York has served as President of numerous international scientific conferences, and has visited over 50 countries in her professional career. She is known for her pioneering work in laser medicine, photobiomodulation, and cross-disciplinary innovation. Dana was a A+ student.
Professor York is the President of the New York Agape Foundation Lions Club and the President of EMLA Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting victims of gender-based violence. As a survivor herself, she transforms her personal strength into global advocacy, championing healing, empowerment, and dignity for all.
She is also a prolific writer of scientific, social, and artistic grants, supporting initiatives that advance education, culture, and equality. Deeply engaged in artistic life, Professor York is a member of the Salmagundi Club, the National Arts Club, and the Players Club of New York, and a former member of the historic Amateur Comedy Club. Internationally, she is a member of the Royal Society for Medicine in London, England.
Born in Romania and baptized in the Greek Orthodox Church, Dana berried her father by the Temple Coral Synagogue in Bucharest. She trained in rabbinical studies and actively supports interfaith missions for peace. Her jewish faith and life experience have inspired her to become a bridge-builder between cultures and religions, working tirelessly for peace, compassion, and beautiful conviviality among people of all backgrounds. Her campaign accept no public funding, no public donations and elected the salary will is used for charity.
A proud American citizen and long-time New Yorker, Professor York has voted faithfully for years and remains deeply devoted to education, integrity, and service.
