CECA [www.cecachemicals.com]organised a Training Seminar on Molecular Sieves (synthetic zeolites) on 22nd February in Paris as part of the GPA [Gas Processing Association] Europe technical sessions.
The seminar, at the Novotel Tour Eiffel, was attended by over 80 European professionals from the Natural Gas industries.
This eagerly awaited event was an opportunity for CECA to present its know-how to experts:
- from gas companies BP, CONOCO PHILLIPS, GAZ DE FRANCE, SHELL, STATOIL, TOTAL, etc.,
- from engineering companies ABB LUMMUS, BECHTEL, FLUOR, FOSTER WHEELER, LINDE, MW KELLOGG, TECHNIP, etc.,
- and to academics.
The main objective was to provide concrete solutions on technical and operational matters.
The first part of the session explained in detail the use of Molecular Sieves in each process. The design techniques developed by CECA for gas treatment plants were also presented.
The second part used concrete examples to describe industrial good practices aimed at extending the lifetime of molecular sieves. The Seminar concluded with a busy Q&A session.
