for Oracle Belgium and Luxembourg
Diegem, Jan. 24, 2005 - Oracle appointed Xavier Verhaeghe (35) as Country Manager of Oracle Belgium and Luxembourg. Verhaeghe's primary objective will be to leverage the synergy from the recent integration of Oracle and PeopleSoft. He takes over from Steven Van Hoorebeke who managed Oracle Belgium and Luxembourg successfully for 8 years, before deciding recently to give his career a new dimension. Steven worked for Oracle for 15 years, carrying different responsibilities, for instance as a Consulting Director for Oracle Belgium and Luxembourg.

Xavier Verhaeghe has a Master's Degree in Economical Sciences from the Solvay Management School in Brussels (VUB) and a postgraduate MBA.
He started his career at (32) at Andersen Consulting (today Accenture) in 1993, where he was part of the Value Supply Chain Planning group. He joined Oracle in April 1999 as a Solutions Manager Strategic Enterprise Management (Oracle EMEA). In June 2000 Xavier Verhaeghe became Director EMEA for iProcurement and B2B, but he was soon to switch places again. In September 2001, he was appointed Solutions Director for Oracle Belgium and Luxembourg, making him responsible for Oracle's Business Solutions division and enabling him to work with both applications and technology.
