iBasis & Legos signs a Global Framework Agreement & Premium voice carrier services

Development of International Telecom Business Services continues

iBasis and Legos today announced the signature of Global Framework Agreement for the provision of international Carrier Services.

Legos and iBasis will use their respective IP and TDM infrastructures to extend their respective network reach.

This interconnection agreement allows iBasis to expand its voice traffic termination in France, originated from Mobile and Fixed operators, as well as OTT and messaging providers.

On the other hand, Legos will use iBasis innovative services for their International destinations.

Both connections rely on SIP dedicated interconnections with Premium Voice quality.

Pascal Prot, CEO of Legos said: "We recognize iBasis as a leading provider of innovative international premium voice services, this signature will kick off our collaboration for more feature rich services"

"We are very happy to interconnect with a creative service provider such as Legos," said Gert-Jan Huizer, iBasis SVP of Voice & Messaging Services, "and we look forward to helping them take their innovations global."
