Roland Junck – CEO

 
Roland Junck has been Senior Executive Vice-President at Arcelor since the merger of Aceralia, Arbed and Usinor in 2002, where he had most recently the following responsibilities: Long Carbon Steel Europe, Long Carbon Steel South America, Wire Drawing and Coordination China.

Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Aceralia in he was named General Manager of TrefilArbed Bissen, being appointed Managing Director in 1996. He started his career with Arbed in 1980 in the rolling mills at Dudelange, before moving to Esch-Schifflange in 1985.

Roland Junck graduated from the Federal Polytechnic in Zurich, and earned an MBA from Sacred Heart University.
Aditya Mittal - CFO

Aditya Mittal is the President and CFO of Mittal Steel Company, which he joined in January 1997 and has held various finance and management roles within the company. In addition to these responsibilities Aditya Mittal was appointed Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for the Group in 1999. In this role, he led the company's acquisition strategy, resulting in Mittal Steel's expansion into Central Europe, Africa and most recently the United States. This led to Mittal Steel emerging as the world's largest and most global steel producer, growing its steel making capacities fourfold. These acquisitions included Polskie Huty Stali in Poland, Nova Hut in Czech Republic, Sidex in Romania, Annaba in Algeria, Iscor in South Africa, and International Steel Group in the US.

Prior to his M & A responsibilities, in 1997, Aditya Mittal managed the IPO for Ispat International NV. This deal was the largest ever IPO in the steel industry, raising over $775 million and receiving the Equity Deal of the year award. He is also an active participant in various charitable organisations, most notably the NSPCC in the UK, a YPO member, and in 2005 was selected as one of the World Economic Forum's Young Global Leaders.

Aditya Mittal holds a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Economics from the Wharton School in Pennsylvania with concentrations in Strategic Management and Corporate Finance from where he graduated magna cum laude.
 

Michel Wurth – Member of the Management Board  

Michel Wurth became Vice-President of the Group Management Board of Arcelor and Deputy CEO in January 2006, with the following responsibilities: Flat Carbon Steel Europe & Auto, Flat Carbon Steel Brazil, Coordination Brazil, Coordination Heavy Plate, R & D, NSC Alliance.

In 2002, with the merger of Aceralia, Arbed and Usinor, Michel Wurth has been appointed Senior Executive Vice President and CFO of Arcelor, with responsibility over Finance and Management by Objectives. He joined Arbed in 1979, and was named Secretary to the Board of Directors in 1986.

In 1988 he was appointed head of NovAR, then Corporate Secretary of Arbed in 1992. In 1996 he joined the Arbed Group management board, and was appointed Chief Financial Officer, before being named Executive Vice President in 1998.

Michel Wurth holds a law degree from the University of Grenoble, a political science degree from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Grenoble and a Master of Economics from the London School of Economics.

Malay Mukherjee – Member of the Management Board

Malay Mukherjee is the Chief Operating Officer of Mittal Steel Company and was formerly President and Chief Operating Officer of Ispat International N.V.. He has over 31 years experience in a range of technical, commercial and general management roles in the steel industry and has held various senior management positions within the Mittal Steel Company, including Managing Director of the company's operations in Kazakhstan and Mexico.
 

Gonzalo Urquijo – Member of the Management Board
 
Since January 2006, Gonzalo Urquijo has been Senior Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Arcelor, with the following responsibilities: Finance, Purchasing, IT, Legal Affairs, Investor Relations, Arcelor Steel Solutions & Services, and Other Activities.

In May 2004, he became Deputy Senior Executive Vice President, in charge of this Sector.  
Since November 2002, he headed the functional directorates of the A3S sector, reporting to Robert Hudry. In 1997, Gonzalo Urquijo became CFO of Aceralia, a position he held until the creation of Arcelor, where he became Executive Vice President of the Operational Unit South of the Flat Carbon Steel sector. Between 1984 and 1992, he held a variety of positions at Citibank and Crédit Agricole before joining Aristrain in 1992 as CFO and later Co-CEO.

Gonzalo Urquijo is a graduate in economics and political science of Yale University and holds an MBA of the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.
 

Davinder Chugh – Member of the Management Board

Davinder Chugh is the Chief Executive Officer of Mittal Steel South Africa and has over 25 years experience in the steel industry, in particular materials purchasing, logistics, warehousing and shipping. Prior to being appointed Chief Executive, Davinder Chugh held the position of Commercial Director at Mittal Steel South Africa since May 2002.

Before joining Mittal Steel South Africa he was Vice President of purchasing at Mittal Steel's western European operations. Davinder Chugh has been with Mittal Steel since 1995 and successfully integrated the materials management functions at newly acquired Mittal Steel plants in Hamburg, Duisburg, France, Romania and Algeria. Prior to this, he held several senior positions at the Steel Authority India Limited in New Delhi, India.

He holds degrees in science and law and has a master's degree in business administration.
